Gallic Empire. OB: IMP C POSTVMVS P F AVG; Rx: HERC DEVONIENSI; Hercules standing right, leaning on club, holding bow and lion's skin; legend refers to the Hercules of Deuso, a town in Gaul where Postumus may have been born or elevated. Good VF w/traces of copper in the silver. RSC IV 91a; DVM 17; C91.
