Bonaparte Premier Consul issue. I'll have to use a camera on this one - in hand it's much better than the scan shows. Proof-like surface, particularly on the reverse; the original surfaces are irridescently toned, a gorgeous example. Obverse striations 'adjustment' marks from the mint and are not nearly so visible in hand and are common and mint generated for this series. This was graded by PCGS as MS 62 and appears on their site as a specimen you can see at this [ link ] There you can see an expert photo but I must say the colors are 'popped' from the specimen in hand.
Paris mint privy mark is "Tiolier" in script. Mint director privy mark is a cock (rooster). "A" mint is Paris.
