Augustus AR Denarius minted in 31 B.C. at the crucial Battle of Actium. Historically significant because Augustus' victory over Marc Antony led to him becoming the 1st emperor of Rome. Obverse: AVGVSTVS DIVI F. Bare head of Augustus Right. Reverse: IMP X ACT. Apollo standing left, holding Lyre.
