R.S.F.S.R. ( Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republic - 1921 to 1923) OK, as part of my study of the origins and use of the Hammer & Sickle symbol I included three examples of paper money here in the Moneta Museum. A comprehensive web site on Russian bank notes list this type as issued in 1919, the earliest Soviet type Hammer & Sickle money I have found so far.
