Peoples Republic issue. 1.5 M minted. In 1921 the Provisional People's Government of Mongolia was established with the help of Russia. The following year the People's Republic of Mongolia was established. In 1925 the Leningrad mint was commissioned to strike a set of coins, five of which were silver.
