Not an impressive coin but my first Legionary counterstamp. I believe the host coin is a Trajan (perhaps Hadrian) with an obvious 'desert patina' and my best interpretation so far is a 'thunderbolt' of Legion XII Fulminata stationed in Cappadocia or perhaps in greater Syria. More to come on this and a new acquisition of a Legion X Fretensis counterstamp. If you know more please email.
