The Carthaginians in Sicily and North Africa
Silver Half shekel (3.36gm.) Carthago or Sicily, c.213-211 B.C. Very Rare!
Head Hannibal left.
Elephant walking right; in exergue, Punic letter A (leph).
Reference: SNG Copenhagen 383. Burnett Enna Hoard 120.
I couldn't help myself, this coin is not in this museum but it's a very rare portrait coin of Hannibal, and everyone deserves to see it. (S. Nechayev, V-Coins)
