TRAJAN. 98-117 AD. AR Denarius (17.3 mm, 3.26 gm). Struck 106-111 AD. Laureate bust right, drapery on left shoulder / The Danube River reclining left on rocks, hand on prow of ship, reeds over arm. This coin series celebrates the successful crossing of the Danube River with the legions for the 2nd Dacian War. RIC II 100; RSC 136: S882. Toned XF.
