Sterling silver 2 Shillings of the Zuid Afrikaansche Republic. The two Shillings features the obverse portrait of Kruger without legend. Mintage for this year is 148k but the value of this year is very low compared to the 1895 with a mintage of 150k, the 1895 books at x10 the value in BU! I'd like to know why, the whole ZAR series trends this way for a reason. Very light contact marks on the field of the obverse but the reverse is lustrous.
