Caius Aurelius Valerius Diocletianus (A.D. 284-305). Diocletian attempted to restore Rome and a big part of that effort was his famous monetary reform - celebrated with this post-reform Follis (1 AE Follis = 5 AE denarii). Here's a wonderful high grade example of this 2nd large scale issue that had a face value twice the previous issue.
OB: IMP DIOCLETIANVS PF AVG; RX: SACRA MONET AVGG ET CAESS NOSTR; Moneta standing l; in exergue SIS; with crescent moon below scales. Siscia mint. 9.2 gm, 28 mm; XF with traces of silvering. S3538; RIC 46; C435.
