I am a bit suspicious of this coin. It has nice calligraphy, but the Tong doen't look quite right to me. Also the size is wrong. This is a Type 2 (1853-55) and should be around 45mm diameter. I base my comments on Hartill's Cast Chinese Coins where it is listed as 22.781. I feel it is more likely to be a modern replica than a private issue.

Comments by ChinaCash are very likely to be true. Other observations are that Type 1 (two dot 'tong') 20 Cash is about 50 mm in dia. & 'fu' on the rev. is closer in form to a Type 1.

The evidence and expert analysis is in - this coin has been moved to the fake / counterfeit classification. Thanks for the knowledgeable input!
